A day later the only key that was 'seen' in the VM was the cap lock key - I got the notification my caps lock key was on at the login window - but I couldn't log in because I couldn't type anything. I was able to run both OSs just fine, but when I exit the guest OSs and exit VMware, and then try to restart a VMware guest OS I get the following error: Failed to connect to peer process Lo. I am getting this dmesg ouput when the error message pops up: Everything was going well, I created a new machine using the 'easy install' and was off an running. Ok so I installed VMware Fusion and created to guest OSs, Solaris 11 Developer and Windows XP.
